Booth Girls book launch

Join me to celebrate the launch of Booth Girls: Pregnancy, Adoption, and the Secrets We Kept (Minnesota Historical Society Press)! I’ll talk about how I came to write the book, my mother’s experience as a Booth girl, and the oral history interviews that form a central piece of the story. I’ll be in conversation with Minnesota Humanities Center CEO Kevin Lindsey, my sister, and one of the former Booth girls I interviewed.

This event was co-hosted by the Minnesota Historical Society and the Minnesota Humanities Center and took place on Facebook and YouTube Live. You can watch the recording of the program here!
